An excellent PVR packed in a small size.

TVIX PVR R-2230 is the smallest PVR with time-shifting capabilities that allows you pausing live TV and resuming playback any time you wish. It also enables you to receive and record any type of terrestrial digital broadcasts (HD and SD).

With the TVIX PVR R-2230 you can enjoy HD in 1080i resolution with its HDMI 1.1 connection.

This media streamer can equip an internal 2.5” Sata HDD so you can use it to record content from DVB-T or with its composite and S-Video input from a DVD player, VCR, camcorder, digital camera and with its small size you can easily carry it with you and use it as an external HDD.

For Network capabilities you will need to buy an optional Wi-Fi USB adaptor.

Overall this is a great product with its key feature being portability with excellent recording capabilities. But still keep in mind that the latest HD formats are not supported by this media streamer.
