This media streamer comes in many editions that feature different HDD capacities and a Wi-Fi adapter.

There are 2 versions with a 500GB or 1TB internal HDD and no Wi-Fi adapter.And 2 versions with 500GB or 1TB internal HDD with a Wi-Fi adapter.

The MediaStation HD DVR by Verbatim is a very powerfull media streamer with so many capabilities that you will always keep you occupied.

Its DVB-T/analogue hybrid tuner lets you tune in your favorite tv channels which you can also record to your media station , an external HDD or a memory card ,using the One Touch Record funtion or choosing scheduled recordings using the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) over the DVB-T.

While recording from your TV you can playback your digital content with no problem.

MediaStation HD DVR also allows you to pause or rewind live TV using the Time Shift function.

MediaStation HD DVR can playback high definition movies (1080i resolution), HD JPEG photos and up-scale standard definition movies to 1080i.

The MediaStation HD DVR has 2 USB host interfaces, so you can choose to record or playback from an external USB device, such as a USB drive or another external hard drive. You can also choose to record directly to a high capacity memory card (SDHC) via the memory card slot.

Video files that are encoded H.264 can be played back on the MediaStation via the LAN or Wireless LAN using the Transcode Server software that is included on the CD.
